Why Allah Created The Universe In 6 Days -
Interpretation in the light of Quran & Science -
In Surah Al-Ahraf verse no.54, Allah says that surely it is your Lord Allah who created the earth and the sky within 6 days and then returned to his majesty Throne, where his abode/place is. He wraps the night on the day so that he walks after it. and this is Allah, who created the sun, moon, stars, planets, galaxies, and all the universe and all are doing their work on the orders of Allah. Every living thing or everything that we can see, smell and feel is the creation of Allah, the Creator of all worlds.
In this verse, Allah has mentioned The stage of creation of the universe, apart from this import, there is a mention in the Quran about the creation of the universe in 7 other surahs also, that Allah created the whole universe in 6 days and on 7th day Allah returned to His majesty throne. by reading these Surahs and Ayahs we can feel, how our great Lord Allah has created all these creations. Surely Allah is the Creator of Everything. And when If he says "be" then it becomes.
Time does not apply to Allah because time is also a creation of Allah himself and time is also created by Allah. The creator is never bound by his creation. Now the question is that if this is the truth that he says "be" then it becomes, then why did Allah take 6 days to create this universe and why didn't the universe came into existence when he said, Kun?
The reality and reason for all these questions being born in his mind are that humans did not understand these imports properly and the human mind is very defective. Humans did not lift the veil of all the secrets of the universe, nor would they be able to lift it, because Creation did not have enough capacity to compete with his creator.
Every moment a person learns something new and by increasing his understanding with each passing time, he reaches some conclusion that human intelligence did not accept before this. But now, after centuries of research, humans have come to an extent of understanding of the structure of this universe, how in the beginning?
At the command of Allah this whole universe spread from one point to smoke and gasses and from which all the celestial objects The stars, the moon, the sun, and the galaxies began to form, about which the human beings could not even imagine 100-200 years from now. If at that time any person had looked at the theories of the creation of the universe by putting these Ayahs in front of the Quran, then surely that person would not see any combination between these two but today it is not so at all and just pay attention here.
Note that wherever Allah has mentioned the creation of the universe in 6 days in the Quran, in addition to the land and the sky, "between them" is also written, which means between them (between the land and the sky). and it means the formation of the Creatures or any other creation present inside the universe was in a different time period and if it was not so, then in the Quran, Allah would have only said that we created the universe in 6 days.
Question -
Before the creation of the earth and the sky, there was no existence of day and night because day and night are formed due to the rotation of the earth, whereas out of 24 hours, 12 hours fall in the form of a day on the part of the earth. And there is night there for only 12 hours and secondly, there was no existence of land at the time of the universe, so how is the Quran telling this time period to be 6 days?
Answer -
Science says that from the beginning of the universe to the arrival of the first human being on the land, the time was many billions of years. The word "Al-Yawm" has been used for these 6 days at every place in the Quran, which means by giving an example, let me explain that you go to the place of your birth and childhood in a village in old age and there a person Pointing to your birthplace (your home), you say that there was a day when I used to play in my childhood, then one day came that when I completed my education and started my business and today I have returned to the same place (where I was born).
Did you, while narrating your story to that person, also noticed that you divided the time period of 60/70 years of your life into only three days? although you are 60-70 years old at this time, one day that When you were young, the second was that you achieved progress by completing your education and the third day that you did that when you became old and then you have come to your birthplace.
In the Arabic language, the word "Al Yawm" refers to the exact same meaning, that is, "Al Yawm" is used to describe a time or a long period of time, even if it is a "Yawm" intended for a year or for a million years or be it from hundred millions or billions of years. The second example is that in the Quran, Allah has described the Day of Judgment with the words "Yawm Al Qiyamah", although it is also written in the Quran that the "Yawm Al Qiyamah" will be as long as 50 000 years.
That is, in other words, in the Quran, Allah has described this time as long as 50 thousand years as a day in his tongue, to explain the human beings. For example, in Islamic books, the word "Al Yawm" refers to the time between sunrise and sunset, and in many cases, the word "Al Yawm" is used to describe a period of time or a part of a period, regardless of whether No matter how long the time is? If we keep this concept in mind and think that there was a day when this Earth was a wonderful ball of fire,
then one day it also came that when Allah ordered the land, then this land was at the command of Allah, cooled down and life began to grow on it, but still, for many millions of years, its temperature was several 100 degrees centigrade, which was not at all suitable for life on earth. If we think so, then all these things are exactly the same from the scientific and religious points of view. Therefore, the result of all this debate has been that Allah SWT has created the earth and the sky in 6 Days, It is possible that even in these 6 days, each round may be of several million years that -
- On the first day, these universes have been scattered from one point in the form of Gases or Nebula(s),
- On the second day these Nebula(s) & balls of gases which are cosmic dust and based on different Gases From them, Allah created the Stars,
- Then on the third day, Allah created our solar system.
- Allah says in the Holy Quran that the earth and the sky were connected to each other and on the 4th day, Allah has commanded that the earth and the sky become separate from each other.
- Then on the 5th day, Allah gave the order and greenery and trees started growing on the ground and then different breeds of animals were born.
- Finally, the 6th period also came when Allah sent his first prophet Adam to the earth.
- On The 7th Day, Allah returned to his Great and Glorious throne.
