5 such major sins that Allah strongly dislikes and promised a severe torment -

Intro -

After the death of a person, almighty Allah will pronounce the judgment of his reward and punishment in the form of heaven and hell on the Day of Reckoning. But there are some sins for which punishment the sinner will not have to wait for the Resurrection, but it will start in the grave itself which is not mentioned in the Holy Quran but in the blessed hadiths.

So What are the sins that almighty Allah dislikes so much and many people are found guilty of these sins out of carelessness? In today's post, we are going to discuss the same topic.

The Decree of the Prophet SAW -

The Messenger of Allah SAW said that after the death of every sinful person, he begins to receive punishment in the grave, which is so severe that he screams so loud that all the animals of the world hear his voice.

1. Polytheism -

The first sin is polytheism, such a sin about which it is said that Almighty Allah almighty will forgive every sinner if He wills, but there is no forgiveness for the polytheists. There is a prophetic hadith in Mishkat al-Masabih that 99 snakes will be placed in the grave of a polytheist, which will continue to bite him until the Day of Judgment.

And you can estimate the dangerousness of this snake from the fact that if it breathes once on the earth, the earth will be barren forever. Say, I seek refuge in god from the torment of the grave.

Once the Messenger of God SAW was passing through the graveyard with his companions after sunset, he heard terrible sounds and said that the Jews are being punished in their graves. Of course, no one can hear a dead man's voice, but it was the knowledge of the unseen that almighty Allah gave to His beloved SAW, due to which you could see and hear what no ordinary person could.

It is reported in the books that the Messenger of Allah SAW intended to make his companions hear the screams out of the pain of the sinner in the grave during the punishment, but considering the severity of the punishment of the grave, he thought that lest people should stop burying their dead out of fear.

Now you can imagine the terror and severity of the "torment of the grave" from this blessed saying of our beloved Master SAW. Say, I seek refuge in God's mercy from sins and from God's wrath.

2. A person who does not protect himself from drops of urine -

The Messenger of Allah SAW said that most of the people will be punished in the grave because of this one fault that they do not protect themselves from drops of urine. Today many of us do not take it seriously considering it a small mistake and ignore it. But almighty Allah has promised a very severe punishment for this mistake because cleanliness is half of the faith of a Muslim.

3. Abandoning prayers -

According to blessed Ahadith, a terrible snake is left in the grave of a person who abandons prayers, which continues to bite him until the time of the next prayer. And with only one sting of that snake, that person sinks 70 yards into the ground. That is, the person who abandoned the Zuhr prayer will be continuously bitten by this snake for the time from Zuhr to Asr prayer.

4. Backbiting -

Once my beloved Master SAW was passing through the graveyard and he heard the screams of the dead from the two of the graves there, he said to his companions that one of them is being punished for the crime of not protecting himself from the drops of the urine and the other is being punished for the crime of backbiting.

Backbiting is one of the major sins because it is hypocrisy and because of this it destroys relationships and love in homes and societies and creating rifts between lovers or relatives can never be in the manners or habits of a Muslim. To praise him in front of one person but criticize him in front of a third person in his absence, what is this if not hypocrisy?

Remember that this person who is backbiting someone in front of you definitely backbites you too in front of someone else. So avoid such a person and don't tell him any of your secrets.

5. To complain about an illness for no reason -

Allah Almighty says that if I afflict a person with any disease in this world, I will forgive his sins in return. That is, if this person remains patient even in the face of illness or suffering, he will be fully rewarded in the Hereafter. And there will be no blame on him on the Day of Reckoning.

While on the contrary, because of his illness, if he cries for no reason and complains to Allah almighty, which is highly displeasing to Allah almighty, and his punishment begins in the grave itself, so there will be no refuge for him except almighty Allah in the grave and in the hereafter.

Therefore, you should be patient and thankful for almighty Allah's pleasure in this trial, because many people in the world are more sick and needy than you, and seeing their suffering, you will forget your own suffering.

It has become a habit here that people start cursing almighty Allah for even the slightest pain or illness, they complain that Allah almighty has put them in punishment. Don't these people know that Allah, the most merciful sends His trial only on His beloved slaves, so that he forgive their sins and grant them a full reward for their patience in the Hereafter?

So why don't we also become his grateful slaves, just like Sayyiduna Ayyoub PBUH did not stop being patient and thankful to Allah almighty even during his severe illness?

May Allah almighty grant us patience like Sayyiduna Ayub PBUH, may He include us among His grateful servants and save us from the punishment of the grave - Amen again Amen!!
