Qasas Al-Anbiya: Prophet Ibrahim عَلَيْهِ ٱلصَّلَاةُ وَٱلسَّلَامُ -
Exhortations From Prophet Abraham علیہ سلام -
- The wise man should not bring all the important things on his tongue.
- Find a way to spend your life, and always think about the hereafter.
- Be saved from sins.
- If you are on the post, then keep in mind that nothing against this position should be brought to the tongue.
- Always remember livelihood is written in the fortune-telling, A greedy man remains unfavorable, a poor man remains evil in the eyes of the people, Allah is the giver of the livelihood, and this world is going to be destroyed one day.
- Whoever breaks the relationship with you, you should make a relationship with him. If someone wrongs you, then you have mercy on him. If someone misbehaves with you then forgive it and if you make any mistake then apologize.
- The wise should consider the times in their day and night, for some time in the court of Allah and consider your existence for a while.
- Pay full attention to the creation of Allah. How Allah created this world and handled it. We were nothing but he granted us life and existence.
- Then for a while reckon with yourself what Allah has given you and what you have done for His pleasure,
- Then take out some time in which you can do things to fulfill your needs, but in this too he must take care of the obedience of Allah and his Prophets and Messengers.
Hadrat Ibrahim (PBUH) was blessed by Allah with many miracles. One of his miracles is that the scent of musk used to come from his blessed body, even the house Prophet Ibrahim used to visit used to be fragrant forever. One of his miracles was that he could hear the distant voice very well. once Prophet Ismail complained of hunger while living in Mecca. Prophet Ibrahim heard his voice while living in Canaan and prayed from there.
Then Allah fulfilled all the needs of Prophet Ismail. If he were to travel alone, he would be accompanied by lions and other animals. He reached a long age of 175 years. During the lifetime of the prophet Ibrahim, Prophet Ismail (peace be upon him) was sent to Mecca, Prophet Ishaq (peace be upon him) was sent to Canaan, Prophet Yaqub (peace be upon him) was sent to Paddan and Prophet Lut (peace be upon him) was sent to Sodom.
Prophet Ibrahim's Encounter With Nimrod
Nimrod was astonished that so many small animals destroyed such a powerful army, he returned home A lame mosquito was chasing him. he told his wife: There were such beasts that destroyed and ruined the whole army and I could not do anything. And when Nimrod saw the lame mosquito, he stretched out his hand and wanted to kill him.
But the mosquito got into his nose, penetrated the brain through the nostrils and kept Nimrod in severe pain for 40 days. Once again Prophet Ibrahim was commanded to invite Nimrod to faith. So he went to Nimrod and said to him: Bear witness that Allah is One and I am His Messenger. Nimrod said: Who testifies that Allah is the true God and you are the Messenger of Allah? Prophet Ibrahim said: Everything that is in your house will bear witness.
So all the trees and plants of his house started bearing witness to Allah. Nimrod commanded to burn them all. Prophet Ibrahim said now the walls and pillars of the palace will bear witness to Allah. Nimrod commanded to drop them too. Then Nimrod's clothes began to testify. he also took off his clothes and threw them away. Meanwhile, Jibreel (Gabriel) came there and said to Prophet Ibrahim (Abraham).
O Friend of Allah Every infidel believes during death but in the meanwhile, it is not valid. After the death of Nimrod, people all over Iraq believed in Prophet Ibrahim. After paying his dues, Prophet Ibrahim returned to his motherland Palestine with his nephew Prophet Lot after 10 years. On his return from Babylon, the Prophet Abraham also built an anchorage in Palestine where travelers, orphans, the poor and the needy used to have meals.
Birth of Prophet Ishaq
One day, three young men in plain clothes came to the anchorage of Prophet Ibrahim. Prophet Ibrahim offered them the roast beef. But none of these three young men reached out his hand to eat the roast beef. They said we've been sent to torment the people of the Prophet Lot. (We'll discuss in detail the life of Prophet Lot and his people in our upcoming post which will be published tomorrow night at 20:00 PM.)
As you know those three young men were Angel Gabriel (Jibreel), Angel Michael (Mikail) and Angel Israfil. Angel Gabriel was sent to torment the people of Prophet Lot, Angel Michael was sent to protect Prophet Lot and his family and The Angel Israfil was sent to Give the gospel of the birth of his son and he said to Prophet Ibrahim, name your son Isaac. When Hazrat Sarah heard Prophet Ibrahim and Angel Israfil talking to each other, she started laughing.
Angel Israfil said: I gave you the gospel of the birth of your child, whom you've to name Ishaq and then a son will be born to him too, whom you've to name Jacob (Yaqub). On hearing this gospel (good news), Sarah was very surprised. Angel Israfil said to Hazrat Sarah: You are doubting about the infinite power and ability of Allah, just look at the dry palm sticks in your house, when they looked, they were green and laden with fruits.
A few days later, Prophet Ishaq was born to Hazrat Sarah while prophet Ibrahim's age was about 104 years. Prophet Ishaq was a lookalike of Prophet Ibrahim. Shortly after the death of Hazrat Sarah, Prophet Ibrahim married a woman named Keturah who lived in Cannan. Seven sons were born to Prophet Ibrahim from the womb of Keturah. 1 of them was named Midian, from whose descendants Prophet Shuayb was born
However, as you were told earlier, the Prophet Abraham returned from Babylon and built an anchorage in Palestine. Prophet Ibrahim built a house for himself and built it in such a way that it had four entrances. Prophet Ibrahim was very hospitable even though he did not eat without guests. Prophet Abraham used to be very happy with the influx of guests and he used to hospitalize the guests a lot.
And on the day when no guest comes to Prophet Ibrahim's house, he use to go miles away in search of a traveler or guest. And when too many people began to come to your anchorage, the expenses started increasing a lot too. There was even a time when there was distress in the house of Prophet Ibrahim and there was a time of poverty. Prophet Abraham sent his servants to his Egyptian friend to get some grain from there.
And said I'll return it when I've grain. Prophet Ibrahim's Egyptian friend said: I don't even have grain in stock to give you at this time. When the servants of Prophet Ibrahim began to return to Palestine empty-handed they felt shameful and said to each other: I do not dare to go before the Messenger of Allah (Ibrahim peace be upon him) empty-handed. So on the way, they filled the sack with sand.
Meanwhile, a slave arrived first and informed Prophet Ibrahim: The Egyptian friend also has no grain to give us. Prophet Ibrahim felt very sorry to hear this and went to sleep in the same condition. When the other slaves arrived with sand in sacks, all the sand had turned into grain by the command of Allah. All those sacks were unloaded. The captives ground flour and made bread. And offered them to Prophet Ibrahim (peace be upon him).
Prophet Ibrahim said where did the grain come from? They pleaded that the grain was sent from your Egyptian friend. And but in reality, this grain was a gift from Allah to his grateful Prophet.
