Prayer Is The Permanent Medicine For Your Every Pain - Know How??
God, the Exalted, said in Surah Al-Alaq of the Holy Quran while foretelling a promised torment for the ignorance and cruelty of Abu Jahl: But no! If he does not desist, We will certainly drag him by the forelock— a lying, sinful forelock. After that, the Messenger of God SAW said in his blessed hadith that the first judgment will be made on the sin of murder on the day of judgment. The person who was killed unjustly in this world will drag his murderer before God by holding him by the hair of his forehead and he will ask for his justice.
Now after listening to these Quranic verses and authentic Hadith, this question surely comes to our mind that until today we have read that the human mind is the center of thinking and the heart is the center of emotions and feelings. And from here man intends or decides to do good or evil, but why does God repeatedly mention our foreheads that the sinners will be dragged by the forelock? This means that human decision-making ability must have something to do with it. But what is that?
Let's examine it first from science and logic and then from the Holy Quran for a better explanation.
When modern science studied the human brain how each part of the brain works and how it is designed, they were extremely surprised, because this mystery described 1400 years ago has finally been solved because we found that the human brain is divided into four major parts and each part has its own specific function, as you can see in this diagram. The most important part here is the frontal lobe which is very important to understand because its function is to learn, understand, speak and develop human personality i.e. our behavior and attitude.
Apart from this, to control emotions and most important to decide and intend. Therefore, according to medical science, if this frontal lobe does not exist or it disappears, then the human being will be deprived of all these abilities and will not be able to differentiate between right and wrong.
It was mentioned in the Holy Quran even before 1400 years ago and today science confirmed it -
Now, I would like to draw your attention to this verse because, on the basis of all the described characteristics of this part of our brain, it is said in the Holy Quran that he will be dragged by its forelock because this part of the brain is called the frontal lobe in the language of science. Our memory, thinking or heart do not interfere with the decision-making of the frontal lobe. How amazing it is that the creator of mankind goes down to the microscopic level of the human mind and points to this particular part and tells his limited-minded slaves that this is part of your mind that makes you do good or bad.
Through this, you will be caught and punished on the Day of Judgment. And the angels will also throw the sinners into hell by dragging them by their forelocks.
Scientists have learned from further research that this part of the brain in animals is very small and weak, so they cannot make decisions properly. Neither do they have the ability to lead, so whenever the animals are attacked, they start running away from their flocks. All of them cannot think of a solution to save themselves together. And if they had this ability, their predators would probably have starved to death by now.
In the Holy Quran Holy Lord repeats: Lo! I have put my trust in God, my Lord and your Lord. Not an animal but He doth grasp it by the forelock! Lo! my Lord is on a straight path. It is mentioned in the blessed Ahadith that the Messenger of God SAW used to make Dua, O my Lord!! my forehead is under your power i.e. my decision-making power is actually under your control, I have nothing of my own. I surrender myself to you, my will is nothing before your will. Even in prayer, when we are prostrating our forelock (the part of the mind which is independent) on the ground, then we are actually negating our own will.
We are surrendering ourselves to God. Which is a sign of humility, and humility is very dear to God. The forehead that is independent in its decisions and actions, I submit it to my Lord, Only my Lord has authority over it, I am content with His pleasure, that's why we are called Submissive to God i.e. Muslims.
When we Prostrate -
emotions and desires such as anger, hatred, malice and desire for sin are carried along with the blood from the heart to the frontal lobe or forehead. As soon as the slave surrenders himself to his Lord by bowing down the abode of bad thoughts and sins to the ground, the manifestation of mercy falls on him and in this state, the servant is the closest to his Lord. And this sajdah removes all of his anxiety, depression or tension and makes him completely calm down: what do you get in the prayer, prostrate and see.
Of course, this fact described in the Quran and Hadith is no less than a miracle, but only those who have minds understand it, for the rest of the people, it may be a coincidence.
